a) To assist, promote, encourage and support the interest and welfare of the water well industry in all of its phases

b) To foster aid and promote scientific education, standard research, and technique in order to improve methods of well construction and development and advance the science of groundwater in the province of Alberta

c) To promote harmony and co-operation between well contractors and scientific and government agencies relative to the proper development and protection of underground water supplies

d) To encourage co-operation of all interested groups relative to the improvement of drilling and pumping equipment

e) To encourage, serve, assist, and promote closer co-operation amongst the contractors in their own and the public interest
